As wonderful as the changes ahead may be, change, whether for better or worse, is always stressful. As a result, we will need to learn how to deal better with change (read that stress) in its various forms. This dawning of The Age of Aquarius has only just begun, and it hasnt been all peaches and cream. Our sensory systems are now bombarded with ever-increasing electromagnetic streams of wizardry and such, with more on the way. Soon, well be receiving e-mail from distant corners of the solar system, along with a continuous influx of news data on our digital phone wristwatches. New lanes are continually being added to the information superhighway. This is stressful. All this spells information overload along with sensory and electromagnetic energy overload. Its the yin and the yang --- lots of good changes, but at the price of increased stress on our bodies.
Although stress and uncertainty have historically always been with us, each of us deals with it differently. Some people thrive on it, while others cant handle it at all. What can we do to de-stress our lives now and in the years ahead as we await the technology for immortality (the ultimate stress reliever)? One of the things we can do is get a better understanding of the stressors in our lives and learn how we can moderate these. What our brains perceive as stressful has an impact on every tissue and organ in our bodies.
Research studies now indicate that every cell in our body is hard-wired to our brains. There are receptors throughout the body for the chemical messengers that are sent from the brain; and there are receptors in the brain for the chemical messages that come in from the periphery. In this way, the brain talks to every cell in the body
and every cell talks back to the brain. There is a continuous communication system going on that would make AT&T envious.
There are numerous inexpensive, safe, natural products available to help people deal with stress and depression. Stabilium is a very powerful natural product to help people with anxiety. It is safe, very effective and has no side effects.
Likewise, St. Johns Wort has been found in numerous medical studies to be as effective as many of the more popular prescription anti-depressant medications.
