It is our recommendation that most people take multiple vitamin and mineral supplements. These should contain a significant percentage of Life-Extension-Optimal (LEO) amounts of our basic nutrients. In order to contain all of these recommended amounts, several tablets or capsules usually must be taken each day. One-a-day multiple vitamins wont suffice for our purposes, and, more typically, four to ten pills a day are needed. In addition, a supplemental source of essential fatty acids is highly desirable.
As discussed within The Baby Boomers' Guide to Living Forever, individual vitamins and minerals can be used as "treatments" for a number of specific diseases and condition. Taking additional amounts above and beyond our LEO amounts in this case is desirable. All of the products listed below meet or exceed our LEO doses for almost all nutrients.
